The candidates having B.A. Honours in any subject of any stream are eligible for admission to Master of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism (M.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism).

But,

priority will be given to the candidates having B.A. Honours/ B.Voc in Journalism and Mass Communication or Public Relations.

Note: (1) The merit list(s) will be prepared on the basis of Total Marks or CGPA obtained at Undergraduate level. If more than one candidate gets same marks at the Undergraduate level, the percentage of marks obtained in Higher Secondary Examination will be the deciding factor. In case of same percentage in their Higher Secondary examination also, the percentage of marks obtained by them in Secondary Examination will be the deciding factor.


(2) The Govt. reservation policy will be followed for admission.

(3) 15 seats are available in the hostel. Selection will be on the basis of merit, means and distance of residence from the University.
